It can feel like a big a jump to check out a church, so we try to keep things pretty relaxed. Some of our visitors are coming to church for the very first time while others have been around for a while so wherever you’re at and whatever you believe, you are totally welcome. Sunday gatherings are the primary way we gather as a community and the time involves some singing, listening to a talk and some space for prayer, followed by pizza and wine together. Also, we are so happy to have two kids groups at Saint Augustine's. Fantails is a group for pre-schoolers and infants led by Sarah Newton with cool toys, books and crafts all ready to go for this age group. Falcons is for school age children and is led by Jody and Rebekah and is packed full of Bible teaching, crafts, games, prayer and access to the awesome Western Park!

Chapel is a simple space for seeking God together through the beautiful elements of stillness, silence, sacrament, psalm & song. We gather around the symbols of salt and light; salt in response to the prayer of St Augustine “God, put salt on our lips that we may thirst for You” & the light of a candle reminding us that Jesus is present when we gather.

Alongside our Sunday gathering, groups are our scattered expression of church focussed around forming community and practicing the way of Jesus, together in Auckland. They are small groups of people meeting through the week in homes, cafes and other venues across Auckland. Groups are the heart-beat of Saint Augustine’s, they are a load of fun and are a great way to get to know people whilst having an impact in this city we love to call home.
