So, in July 2016, 37 people gathered in a classroom in a West Auckland school with a desire to seek God and pray for one another. The following month, Rev Brent Swan, the Vicar of Grey Lynn, kindly welcomed us to meet at St Columba. We met at 3:15pm, for worship, pizza and wine on Sunday, 28 August, the feast day of St Augustine of Hippo - and the name Saint Augustine's has stuck ever since. By mid-2017 we had outgrown St Columba, and so we moved to The Dorothy Winstone Centre at Auckland Girls' Grammar School on 16 July 2017 – exactly a year since our very first gathering. And as we get going we’re inviting you to come and say hey over pizza and wine on a Sunday afternoon.
