the shift
We’ll be meeting at St Patrick’s Chapel, located at Dilworth School Senior Campus, 2 Erin Street, Newmarket.
The last Sunday at Auckland Girls’ Grammar will be Sunday, 6 September. Our first Sunday in St Patrick’s Chapel will be Sunday, 20 September.
Yes. Our Sunday gatherings will be at 10am from Sunday, 20 September.
Everything you know and love about Saint Augustine’s Kids is staying the same. The same amazing leaders, the same age groups, and the same heart for teaching our tamariki how to walk with God and talk with God. The only difference is that we'll be meeting in bigger, better spaces.
See below for some Saint Augusinte’s Kids specific FAQS!
Nothing is changing for our youth ministry. Youth will continue to meet at Tātai Hono Marae every second Friday night.
Got questions? Contact Josiah Burton for more info.

Charlie Baker
When you arrive at the new Dilworth Chapel, Charlie Baker and our friendly kids team will be there to welcome you and help you check in. Your children will worship with you at the beginning of the service, then transition to their groups after the notices.
All our amazing groups are staying the same, we’ve just got some great new spaces for them. Scroll further down the page to view our venue map and see where all our spaces are located!
Preschool kids:
The Nest — Mums & babies
Fantails — 0–2 years
Takahē — 3–4 years
School kids:
Kākāpō — Years 0–1
Kororā — Years 2–3
Kea — Years 4–6
Falcons — Years 7–8
School Kids (Kākāpō, Kororā, Kea and Falcons): look for the group’s sign at the back of the chapel and gather there with the leaders. The leaders will walk with them to their group’s space.
Preschool Kids (Fantails and Takahē): take your child directly to their space – just look for the group’s flag by their building’s entrance. Help them settle into their favourite activity, then you are welcome to stay or leave them in the care of their amazing leaders.
When the service finishes, head to your child's kids space to check them out – just look for the flags by the building entrances. If your child is in Falcons, their leaders will bring them back to the Chapel.
You and your baby are most welcome in the Chapel. If you wish to take your baby out at any point, we have two spaces for you: the Nest and Fantails. Feel free to use whichever one suits you and your little one best.
Talk to them about the upcoming move and give them a chance to ask you any questions. Let them know that some things may look a bit different, but that the things they know and love about Saint Augustine’s will be the same.
